ODOR RECOGNITION TESTS
Birch - Anise - Clove

Sunday, September 8th, 2019

Gallatin County Fairgrounds
Hog Arena
901 North Black
Bozeman, Montana 59715

Test Site Information
Bozeman, Montana is at an altitude of approximately 4,900 feet.  While this is generally not an issue for most visitors, you should be aware of this fact.  The test will be held at a county fairground facility and will require walking on rough dirt, gravel, and uneven terrain. Should we experience heavy rain or late season snow you will need to be prepared to deal with mud.  Weather in Montana can change suddenly and participants should come prepared for a variety of weather conditions.  There will be no indoor crating options.  There is no shade in the rough dirt parking areas. There is no guarantee of separate reactive dog parking, although the parking area is quite large. Due to unforeseen conditions, such as weather or change in availability of areas at the location, parking and pathways to the test area may be modified at the last minute. The fairgrounds are located within a neighborhood. Dogs who bark excessively may be asked to leave.  The location is a public fairground.  We will provide specific parking area for competitors but cannot restrict public access to parking and there are no guarantees of exclusive access in the parking lot.  Gallatin County Fairgrounds policy is that all dogs should be leashed.  Occasionally we have individuals that enter the fairgrounds with an unleashed dog.  People usually comply with leash law when asked.  Attendees should understand there could be other events going on at the fairgrounds.  The test area is a cement floor arena located in a barn.  The cement surface contains abnormalities and may be considered uneven by some participants.  There is a step in and out of the barn.

Test will be conducted indoors on a concrete floor.

Entry method: First received By Online Registration or US Mail. Overnight deliveries must have the signature waived box checked.
